BTR Pep Rally
Fourth graders had a blast competing for the spirit stick at the BTR Pep Rally. Our creative students adapted our own version of a song from our play into Keep on Running.
Beaufort Twilight Run
Ready, set, go! Thank you so much for everyone who participated in the BTR. Riverview raised more than $80,000 this year!
Integrated Studies of Transformations
Students learned how meteorologists use weather instruments to gauge weather patterns and predict transformations in weather. Then they had fun creating weather instruments such as: weather vane, anemometer, and barometer. Students learned during the time period of Westward Expansion the United States transformed dramatically. We learned the reasons for expansion, the routes taken west, the main explorers, and the impact on the mindset of Americans.
Students had a 3D experience right at our own Riverview Charter School campus. We discovered more about transformations in extreme weather. We learned how animal life adapted undersea and how organisms are interconnected.
Students learned how writing is transformed when using standard conventions. Students played games transforming words using apostrophes, quotations, conjunctions, and more! Students continue to independent read, partner read, work with words, and participate in guided reading groups.
