Dear Riverview Parents,
Thanks so much for sharing your children with me another year. This school year was "fantástico" in my Spanish classes. I appreciate all your support, kind notes, cards, delicious food, and little souvenirs I got from you all throughout the year.
Below you can see what our last five months of Spanish were like. I wish you a wonderful summer break, and I hope to see you all again once our 2019-2020 starts in August!
In trimesters 2 and 3 my kindergarten students learned the days of the week, colors and numbers 1-20. These group of little kids enjoyed singing songs in Spanish, and playing memory games on www.onlinefreespanish.com
My first grade class focused on the animal kingdom in trimesters 2 and 3, They learned to classify vertebrate and invertebrates, and to name some pets and bugs in Spanish. As an end of the year activity for our Bugs unit, Ms Jones's first grade class colored suncatchers as a reward for having completed the most ClassDojo points in the year.
Finally, my middle school students continued mastering their conversational skills through different topics such as Family Life, School Life and Hispanic Cuisine.
